Hale, who is 28 years old, attended three defensive handgun classes at Royal Range USA in Bellevue prior to April 2022, according to the author’s confirmation. Metro Police Chief John Drake further disclosed that the perpetrator of the attack on Covenant School had previously trained at gun ranges in Middle Tennessee.

A photograph of a woman participating in target practice at Royal Range USA:

On May 21, 2022, WSMV4 Investigates captured a photograph of a woman participating in target practice at Royal Range USA while wearing a red shirt and a cap.

The woman who took Hale’s photograph says she was in the room with her boyfriend and fled because she disliked Hale’s headwear. She now believes that the woman was Audrey Hale. Even though the photograph was taken a year ago, the photographer recognized Hale from the shooting range after seeing her in the video.

The owner disclosed that they had altered their system:

The woman emailed the Metropolitan Police Chief this photograph and explained how she had taken it. The owner disclosed that they had altered their system. However, they are still searching for a photograph or record of Hale practicing.

We regularly participate in and lead active shooter training:

Ken Alexandrow, a security trainer and former police officer, also reported being well-trained after viewing the DVD.

The range’s spokeswoman stated in a statement, “We regularly participate in and lead active shooter training as well as conduct training for law enforcement throughout this community, so this hits us particularly hard. We are assisting law enforcement with anything they require at this time.”

The trainer said that the way she gripped the weapon gave the impression that she was proficient with tactical maneuvers. In addition, he stated that he and other trainers are searching for the roaster in order to determine who taught Hale.

“Even though no one who trained her did anything wrong, we don’t want people to believe we were responsible for the success of this attack,” Alexandrow added.
