Missouri. Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams pushed an authorized man with equipment after a 30–29 Monday night loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Adams later apologized.

“I want to apologize to the guy, there was some guy running off the field and he ran, like jumped in front of me, going off the field, and I ran into him, like pushed him, and he ended up on the ground. Adams said at his locker. “So I wanted to apologize to him for that because it was just a disappointment mixed in with the fact that he literally just came running from me. I shouldn’t have reacted like that, but that’s how I responded at first. So, I want to apologize to him. him for it.”

Adams, acquired in the off-season with the Green Bay Packers, could face disciplinary action.

The Raiders, who lost 1-4, are entering their last week after losing a 17-0 lead in the second quarter.

Adams, who had three catches for 124 yards with 58 and 48 yards, was visibly disappointed, walking off the field minutes after participating in the Raiders’ last offensive game with 46 seconds left on the clock.

On fourth and first from the Raiders’ 46-yard line, Adams was free-running down the field when quarterback Derek Carr threw a deep pass. But Adams and slot receiver Hunter Renfroe collided with each other while making their schemes and the ball didn’t work out.

One game earlier, Adams appeared to win the first down by catching the touchline at the Kansas City 39-yard line before the replay umpire reversed the decision. Adams was juggling the ball when his first foot hit the ground.

“I don’t want to comment too much on refereeing, but I thought I was in,” he said.

“I thought it was a trick, but they looked at it and obviously didn’t think so.”
