PLITCH has unveiled two new “hardcore” cheat codes for Capcom‘s Resident Evil Village that make the gameplay more challenging.
Two new “Hardcore” cheat codes will add a new level of challenge to Resident Evil Village players , courtesy of the PLITCH game customization platform. Resident Evil Village is a first-person survival horror video game set just a few years after the terrifying Resident Evil 7: Biohazard . The gameplay of Village is nearly identical to Biohazard, but adds a few elements from previous Resident Evil games , such as the return of a merchant where items can be purchased to help progress through the game.

Resident Evil Village takes place three years after Biohazard and follows main character Ethan Winter, his wife and 6 month old daughter. However, his wife is suddenly killed by Resident Evil central character Chris Redfield, who takes Winter and his daughter to a spooky Eastern European village. The city is the titular Resident Evil Village ruled by four demonic leaders who terrorize and taunt Ethan with their henchman. Ethan is forced to endure the horror of this environment in order to save his newborn daughter.

PLITCH is a tutorial that adds cheat codes to over 3000 different PC video games. The first hardcore cheat code that PLITCH offers is free and it resets players’ lei. Lei is an in-game currency that allows Resident Evil Village players to purchase weapons, weapon upgrades, inventory expansions, recipes, and recovery items. The in -game currency is one of the most important aspects of completing R esident Evil Village., so limiting its amount would be a real Achilles’ heel.

The second PLITCH hardcore cheat is a premium feature that requires payment. This cheat code allows players to reset their inventory to one item.
