Crossroads is a third-person cooperative action game developed and published by the French studio Piece of Cake Studios, the authors of Hacktag.
During the passage, we play as monster hunters who fight the forces of evil in the territory of modern America. Basically, we fight with enemies and close the portals through which opponents arrive. The PC version will be released in 2023. The gameplay is focused on the cooperative mode, but it is also allowed to play alone. Crossroads boasts attractive cartoon-style 3D graphics.
Plot
Events unfold in the United States, where a real apocalypse is coming. Portals open all over the planet, through which various terrible creatures arrive – werewolves, demons, and vampires. The military is carrying out the evacuation of the civilian population, but the dark forces are much stronger. Starring members of a secret brotherhood, consisting of monster hunters who have long been waiting for the arrival of the army of evil. Now the fate of all human existence lies on the shoulders of these heroes.
Gameplay
Actions take place in a third-person perspective, and in the course of them, we fight creatures using a diverse arsenal of weapons. The supernatural skills and abilities of hunters will help in fights. The authors have added various types of monsters, and boss battles diversify the gameplay. In each location, we need to close the portal, and thus eliminate the enemy army in a certain region.
