Thus, a few days after the removal of the ban on the publication of reviews, gamers recognized the action role-playing game as the worst project in the history of Blizzard. Immortal bypassed including real-time strategy Warcraft III: Reforged. This project had a score of 0.6 out of 10.

At the moment, the Burning Crusade add-on for WoW: Classic also has 0.5 points, but the DLC from 2021 has only 371 points. At the same time, the percentage of negative reviews for mobile Diablo is many times higher – 95.5%.

Users in the reviews complained about the abundance of microtransactions (purchases of game items. – Ed.). According to them, inside Diablo Immortal there is aggressive coercion of players to make such purchases, and their absence makes the passage of the project almost impossible.

It is noted that for three years in a row, Blizzard releases received less than one point on Metacritic. In 2020 it was Warcraft III: Reforged, in 2021 it was Burning Crusade, and in 2022 it was Diablo Immortal. At the moment, the worst project according to gamers is the American football simulator Madden NFL 21 – 0.3 points out of 10.

It was previously reported that Diablo Immortal faced a big wave of criticism from fans on release. At the time, the game’s score on Metacritic was 0.8 out of 10.
