Drew Barrymore fans are celebrating the actress’ carefree and cheerful video in which she enjoys the rain while reflecting on her difficult childhood.
The actress-turned-talk show host is going viral after she shared a video of herself frolicking in the rain on social media.
The Charlie’s Angels star took to Instagram this week to urge her fans to frolic in the rain if they get the chance.
“Whenever you can get out in the rain, don’t miss the chance,” she happily shouted in the clip.
The clip of the 47-year-old enjoying the little things in life with such enthusiasm has fans thrilled.
“I want to love everything as much as Drew Barrymore loves everything. Perfection,” one tweet read.
While another added: “I want to see the world through the eyes of Drew Barrymore. She knows something we don’t know”.
However, it also sparked a discussion on social media about Barrymore’s childhood and his difficult upbringing as a child star in Hollywood.
“People who are rude about it are clearly forgetting everything Drew Barrymore went through as a child star. The fact that she lives a life filled with so much joy makes me smile every time,” one comment read.

Barrymore hails from a Hollywood dynasty and shot to fame at age 7 in Steven Spielberg’s beloved blockbuster HE.

In a candid interview with The Guardian in 2015, Barrymore detailed the extent of such a lifestyle and revealed that she was in rehab when she was 12 years old.
“When I was 13, it was probably the lowest,” she said of that tumultuous time in her life. The simple fact of knowing that I was really alone. And it was… awful. It was a really rebellious time. I was running. I was very, very angry.

Barrymore, who made a similar plea in a Rainy Days video in May, drew a flood of responses for his latest stormy weather frolic.

But if you thought she was talking, think again because not even two months later, Barrymore took to social media to share a clip of herself doing just that: running in the rain.
