Future of Electric Vehicles: We are going through a great revolution in the automotive industry.  This is the first time since Henry Ford’s first car production line in 1913.

Electric vehicles are set to overtake petrol and diesel vehicles in the future. Jaguar plans to sell only electric vehicles by 2025 and Volvo plans to sell only electric vehicles by 2030.  British sports car company Lotus has stated that it will sell only electric car models from 2028. Up until the year 2025, Jaguar expects to offer entirely electric cars.

General Motors has said it will sell only electric vehicles by 2035.  According to Ford, by 2030 they will have only electric vehicles for sale in Europe, while by 2030 70% of Volkswagen sales will be based on EV cars.

Europe plans to phase out the use of gasoline and diesel automobiles by 2030,

The trend of using environmentally friendly technology at the international level is increasing.  Electric vehicles are also part of this eco-friendly technology These EVs are cheaper than petrol and diesel vehicles if you look at the cost of fuel and service.  Because they don’t need that much fuel and service.

As the market for electric vehicles grows.  Long-range batteries are preferred.  People want to buy a car that has more range.  Electric vehicles cost less than diesel and petrol vehicles.  Electric vehicles can be charged at home.  Some electric companies are also working on a longer-range battery that will not only have a longer range but will also charge faster. Chinese company CATL has unveiled the world’s first battery that can cover a distance of 1 million miles.

China’s cheapest electric Vehicles

China’s cheapest electric car worth only four and a half thousand dollars has surpassed the largest company, Tesla. The small size electric car is proving to be very popular among consumers. Its air-conditioned model is selling for five thousand dollars

There is no doubt that Chinese electric vehicles lag far behind Tesla in terms of technology and their battery and performance are not so good but due to their low price, it is fast becoming the best-selling in China.  ‘New Energy’ is starting to be counted among the vehicles. This vehicle has a top speed of 100 mph and can barely seat four people at a time.

The Hong Kong Mini EV sold more than 100,000 vehicles in the last six months of last year, while Shanghai-based Tesla’s Model 3 was the top seller. In January 2021, the Hong Kong Mini sold 25,778 vehicles, while Tesla’s Model 3 sold a total of 13,843 vehicles.
