The suspected teenager, whose name has not been released, appeared in the London court, where a preliminary hearing was held. He pleaded not guilty to “misuse of computer equipment”, i.e. hacking Rockstar Games, but admitted to violating bail conditions.

The police are thus continuing their investigation. The detainee is suspected of being a member of the Lapsus $ hacker group, which previously hacked Microsoft, Samsung, Uber, Ubisoft, Nvidia, and other companies. Previously, he had already been arrested along with other teenage hackers. He allegedly used the nicknames White or Breachbase and got $14 million in hacks.

So far, the suspect, as a recidivist, was placed in a temporary detention center for juvenile offenders.
