Intel Arc A750 desktop graphics performance on par with Nvidia RTX 3060

Intel is positioning its Arc A750 graphics card as an equal competitor to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 in popular games like Cyberpunk 2077, F1 2021, Control, Borderlands 3, and Fortnite.

At 1440p, the Intel accelerator even managed to outperform the Nvidia model.

Until now, discrete Intel Arc graphics cards could not compete with their counterparts from Nvidia and AMD. For example, not so long ago we tested the Intel Arc A370M  and found that its performance level is rather low.

This time, Intel has published its own benchmarks of the new Arc A750 graphics card. Please note that such data should be treated with a slight degree of skepticism, since subsequently, in practice, real values ​​\u200b\u200bmay well be lower.

Intel Arc A750 Desktop Graphics Performance Test

The test build with the Intel Arc A750 graphics card was based on an Intel Core i9-12900K processor, which was installed on an Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Hero motherboard with 32GB DDR5-4800 RAM and a Corsair MP600 Pro NVMe SSD;

Windows 11 was the operating system. In total, 5 games were tested on the new accelerator, including F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands 3, and Fortnite, in all of which the Arc A750 managed to outperform the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060.

All games were tested at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with high-quality graphics. The performance difference was most noticeable in F1 2021, where the Intel accelerator managed to deliver 192 fps, while the RTX 3060 delivered 164 fps.

So far, the full specifications of the Intel Arc A750 are unknown, but judging by the leaks, the video card has 12 or 16 GB of video memory connected via a 192-bit bus and consumes 225 watts.

In theory, such initial data makes it an equal competitor to the RTX 3060, unless, of course, Intel manages to release normal drivers without errors.

Intel did not mention the timing of the release of the Arc A750 for sale, but since the corporation decided to boast of the results in games, the release will not be long in the coming.
