Kate Pays Homage to the Queen at the Thanksgiving Service

A touching tribute! Duchess Kate made sure that Queen Elizabeth II’s presence was felt at her Platinum Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving.

Prince William along with Kate Middleton and Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles all went to St. Paul’s Cathedral for the second day of Queen Elizabeth’s birthday celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee. Venue:

St. Paul’s Cathedral is the venue for the second day of Diamond Jubilee celebrations for Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, respectively. 3rd of June 2022. On the second day of the celebrations commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of the British monarchy, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, and Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles arrive at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Queen couldn’t attend the second day:

After it was announced that Her Majesty, who is 96 years old, would not be attending the service because Trooping the Colour on Thursday, June 2, made her feel bad, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is 40, went to St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, June 3, wearing the queen’s jewels.

The Platinum Jubilee of the Elizabeth will go on until Sunday, June 5. In a statement on January 10, the palace said, “The bank holiday will give communities and people all over the UK a chance to come together to celebrate the historic milestone.”

Even though she was sick, the queen seemed happy at Trooping the Color. She smiled big and talked to her great-grandchildren as she watched the parade and flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. For the event, Her Majesty wore a pale blue dress by Angela Kelly, a hat, and a brooch and pearl necklace that matched.

Kate attire:

Middleton wore a sun-kissed yellow dress with a high neck when she got there. Structured tailoring broke up the look into different parts. The Duchess’s waist was tightened by fabric that was rolled to one side and then the other.

The sleeves of British royalty were cut just above the wrists, and the skirts were cut in the middle of the calf. Middleton carried a handbag with beads and cream gloves, and she wore a yellow headdress with big yellow flowers that were tilted over her head.

Middleton also looked pretty at the Jubilee, thanks to some diamond earrings that dangled. Most importantly, Middleton’s nude pointed-toe pumps with a pastel yellow heel showed off her feet.

Middleton looked beautiful in Elizabeth’s Bahrain Pearl Drop sparkling earrings. She wore Emilia Wickstead’s yellow dress with earrings. The top of the dress had a crisscross pattern, and it was worn with a Philip Treaty hat and bare pumps.

Kate wore Diana’s double-drop diamond sapphire earrings

Duchess Of Cambridge wore Diana’s double-drop diamond sapphire earrings to Trooping the Colour. Diana wore the earrings and a layered necklace that went with them on a famous trip to Canada in 1991 and again at the Met Gala in 1996

This wouldn’t be the first time Middleton borrowed from Elizabeth. During her March trip to the Caribbean with Prince William, the author of Hold Still wore the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth.

Kate also wore the queen’s bracelet and earrings for the event. Kate’s wardrobe has been heavily influenced by the queen. Like Her Majesty, Kate is known for wearing bright colors like pink, yellow, and blue.

Kate also often wears clothes that honor Princess Diana, which is what the late royal wanted. Before she died, she wrote a “letter of wishes” that said how she wanted her jewelry to be divided: “I would like you to give all my jewelry to the share that will be held by my sons so that their wives can eventually have it or use it. I’ll let you decide how to divide up the jewelry.”
