According to sources cited by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Boston Celtics made the trade to acquire Malcolm Brogdon from the Indiana Pacers on Friday. This provided the team with the type of playmaking point guard that the president of basketball operations Brad Stevens and coach Ime Udoka believed was necessary to elevate the franchise to the level of a championship contender.

According to sources quoted by Wojnarowski, the Pacers will receive a first-round pick in the 2023 draught as well as five players from the Celtics as part of the trade. These players include center Daniel Theis and first-round pick Aaron Nesmith from the 2021 draught.

Malcolm Brogdon is excited to join the Boston Celtics:

Brogdon told ESPN’s Marc Spears that he is excited to join the Boston Celtics, despite the fact that neither team would be able to disclose the agreement until the next week.

Malcolm Brogdon stated that the Celtics are “seasoned and motivated to win a championship.” He also mentioned that Celtics talents Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Al Horford, in addition to Udoka, have all sought out to him since the deal was agreed upon. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Boston family and take on the challenge of winning that title.”

During Malcolm Brogdon’s playoff sit-down with reporters after the Celtics’ loss to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, Stevens particularly mentioned playmaking as an issue that the team needed to address moving forward.

At the beginning of this month, Stevens was quoted as saying, “I think we need a little bit more playmaking.” “I have no reason to doubt that… We need to make sure that we keep up our fast-paced play throughout the game. When we are performing at our highest level, our play is fast-paced.

A unique identity:

“… However, there is no doubt that in this league, it is to everyone’s advantage to have as many players as possible who are capable of making offensive plays. And the challenge, once more, is making sure that whatever you do around the margins of our roster, we have a unique identity, and we have a uniqueness in our size and our ability to be versatile all across the board. Because of this, when we are adding to our team, we have to take this into consideration. If, on the other hand, we are able to keep that and add some playmaking, then you want to do that without a shadow of a doubt.”

The acquisition of Brogdon, a 29-year-old player who spent the previous season with Indiana and averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists in 33 games, was undoubtedly an addition to the Celtics’ roster.

Not only does the 6-foot-5 guard help Boston in a variety of ways offensively — both as a passer and a career 37.6 percent 3-point shooter — but he is also another long, rangy defender to add to a stable of big guards for the Celtics that includes the reigning Defensive Player of the Year Smart and Derrick White, whom Boston acquired in a different trade at the trade deadline in February. White was acquired by Boston in a different trade at the deadline in February.

The Celtics were able to acquire Malcolm Brogdon without having to give up any of the top eight players in their postseason rotation. Wojnarowski was informed by sources that the San Antonio Spurs are expected to finalize the expected release on forwarding Danilo Gallinari and that Gallinari’s preference is to join the Celtics once he clears waivers. This news raises the possibility that the Celtics will add a second player in the coming days.

After the conclusion of the previous season, Stevens identified several weaknesses, including a lack of bench scoring and depth in the roster, which may be addressed by these signings.

Teams are easily broken:

When asked about it at the time, Stevens stated, “I think we need to walk a tight line a little bit.” “I believe that teams are easily broken. I believe there is a precarious balance between how teams operate and how they work together. And I believe that your identity as a team, when you find one that is successful, which we did this year on the defensive end of the floor and when we were at our best sharing the ball offensively, are things that are fragile. This is something that we did this year on the defensive end of the floor.

“Therefore, the simple fact that you are adding something does not mean that you are not also taking something away from the group. And just because you alter important parts of the group doesn’t guarantee that it won’t completely take your identity and move it in a route that isn’t as successful as the previous one. And so it’s such a delicate line. If you were to ask me right now what we are lacking, my immediate response would be a little bit more scoring off the bench from more consistent scorers. I believe that we have certain needs for the immediate future there.”

Marcus Smart, a standout player for the Celtics, posted on social media that he was “REALLY happy” about the moves the team had made.

Tyrese Haliburton, who the Indiana Pacers acquired at the trade deadline of the previous season in exchange for Domantas Sabonis with the Sacramento Kings, and rookie Bennedict Mathurin, who the Indiana Pacers selected sixth overall in the most recent NBA draught, continue to be the centerpieces of the young backcourt that the Pacers are building their roster around in Indiana.

This finished the previous season with 8.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while splitting time between Houston and Boston. Nesmith, who will be a first-round pick in 2020, averaged 3.8 points per game while playing in 52 contests.

Because of the restrictions imposed by the salary cap in the National Basketball Association (NBA), the contracts of Malik Fitts, Nik Stauskas, and Juwan Morgan—all of whom will be joining the Indiana Pacers—will need to be guaranteed for the trade to be successful.

Malcolm Brogdon was also re-elected in March to serve another term as a vice president on the executive committee of the NBA Players Association for a period of three years.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat struggled to find their rhythm on offense. The Nuggets’ suffocating defense, combined with their ability to contest shots and secure rebounds, forced the Heat into difficult shots and limited their second-chance opportunities. The Nuggets’ dominance in the paint was a key factor in their victory. Jokic’s interior presence and rebounding prowess proved to be a significant advantage, as the Nuggets outrebounded the Heat by a considerable margin. This dominance on the boards translated into easy putbacks and second-chance points, further demoralizing the Miami squad.

Conclusion:

Their collective effort on both ends of the court showcased their championship potential and underlined their status as a formidable team. The Nuggets’ offensive firepower, led by Jokic and Murray, proved to be too much for the Heat’s defense to handle. As the series progresses, the Heat will need to regroup and devise a new game plan to counter the Nuggets’ dominance. Adjustments in defensive strategy and finding ways to exploit Denver’s weaknesses will be crucial for Miami’s success moving forward.

For the Nuggets, their Game 1 victory serves as a confidence booster, providing them with momentum and setting the stage for a thrilling series. However, they must remain focused and not underestimate the resilience of the Heat, who have proven to be a tough opponent throughout the playoffs.

The NBA Finals are far from over, but the Denver Nuggets have announced their presence with authority. With their impressive performance in Game 1, they have shown the basketball world that they are a force to be reckoned with. As the series continues, basketball fans can look forward to an intense battle between two talented teams vying for the ultimate prize.

Pickleball: Ways to Profit off of MLP, Fastest-Growing Sport

"Pickleball: Ways to Profit off of MLP"

Where else in the world do people spend trillions of dollars on those who are the best athletes? Nowhere…Except for one place. Sports? However…we will choose the most interesting thing to talk about at the moment. We will talk about “Pickleball” and Ways to Profit off of MLP.

"Pickleball: Ways to Profit off of MLP"

Pickleball: Ways to Profit off of MLP

Spending way too much time this week playing a game where you hit a wiffle ball over a net.. give you much experience.

Not only did I play a little, but I also looked into the sport as a whole and tried to figure out how to make money from its growth.

Let’s Dive In:

What’s Going on with Pickleball:

This past week, some important news came out. We heard over the weekend that a group of Florida real estate investors was putting $150 million into building new courts.

Then, in the middle of the week, we heard the big news that LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Draymond Green are buying an MLP team.

The next day, MLP’s biggest rival, PPA, responded.

In Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki, Jordan Spieth, John Isner, and Tony Romo are all taking part in a pro-am pickleball competition.

All of this is crazy. We have a brand-new sport, and all the big owners, players, and execs are fighting to win. You’re crazy if you don’t think pickleball will be one of the most popular leisure activities by the end of this decade. So let me give you some ideas, even though I probably won’t do any of them because they would cost me something.

Ways to Profit off of MLP:

Courts and other places to play: Build courts and other places where people can play. Can be based on participation, on a team, or on a fee. This is the most common way, and a lot of people are doing it right now. What’s wrong? To make this work, you will need to own a lot of land or real estate, which will cost a lot of money upfront.

What we sell:

Since there are so many new players, there is a huge need for all the gear that goes along with the sport. Paddles, nets, Wiffle balls, tape, wristbands, shoes, and so on. Even “pickleball-specific chalk” can be made for people who want to play in their driveways.

“Riches are in the Niches,” as the saying goes. I think that the big companies will start making pickleball gear, so time is of the essence.

Become a great pickleball player by practicing every day:

The MLP will hold its 48-person race with a prize pool of $319,000 in two weeks. The first-place winner gets a huge cash prize of $100,000.

Let’s not forget about partnerships, either. The best players will definitely get free gear and sign deals that pay well.

Buy a Team:

Ways to Profit off of MLP inlude te step of “buying a team”. As we’ve seen, a number of pro players are buying pickleball teams. Go for it if you have enough money and can show the MLP or PPA that you deserve to own a team.

Get in touch with me if this is also the case. I’d love to own a sports team and wouldn’t mind getting in early while it’s still cheap (I can also bring us some other big backers).

Pickleball Publication:

My mom thinks I should change Profluence so that I only write about pickleball, which isn’t a bad idea, but I don’t plan to do that. As the game grows, more people will look at it, which means more money for advertising and more affiliate possibilities. Those who want to build this should let me know. This is what I do for a living, and I would be happy to help in some way.

Pickleball Content Creator:

Make videos about pickleball instead of writing a book.I’ve already seen a few on TikTok, but you can still build an audience if you have a unique style and story to tell.

Anthony Davis Departs Game 5 of the Lakers-Warriors series

"Anthony Davis departs Game 5 of the Lakers-Warriors series"

It was the middle of the fourth quarter of the Warriors in the Lakers-Warriors series. It was when the Warriors scored 121-106 Game 5 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference playoffs on Wednesday night, Golden State’s Kevon Looney hit Anthony Davis in the head. It looked like it was an accident.

Los Angeles Times: Anthony Davis departs Game 5 of the Lakers-Warriors series

Chris Haynes of TNT said on Thursday that Davis should be ready to play in Game 6 on Friday night at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. Davis grabbed his head and grimaced while sitting on the bench. After the play, with 7:43 left, he went to the locker room. Looney and he were fighting for position in the paint as D’Angelo Russell of the Lakers drove in for a layup.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham was hopeful about Davis after Game 5, but he didn’t say what kind of review the big man went through in the locker room, like a concussion test.

Davis had to use a wheelchair to get to the changing room in the Lakers-Warriors series:

Hayes said that Davis had to use a wheelchair to get to the changing room, but it looks like he didn’t get a concussion. Dave McMenamin of ESPN also said that Davis was able to walk out of the building on his own after the game.

“Everyone could see that he was shot in the head, but we just checked on him and he seems to be doing great already,” Ham said. “That is exactly where he is. “That’s how it stands right now.”

The best-of-seven series is 3-2 in favor of the Lakers.

Davis scored 23 points, making 10 of 18 shots, and had three assists, three assists, and moreover didn’t block a shot. Austin Reaves, Davis’s teammate, said that Anthony Davis was doing “better,” which was a good sign, but that the team would be ready with or without him.

“It’s clear that AD is a big part of what we do. Reaves said, “I think he’ll play, but if he doesn’t, we’re still a group of NBA basketball players who have played games without him this year.” “You don’t want to play a big game without a guy like that. But that’s how the game works.”

Davis has had some serious injuries in the last few years (he has only played in more than 60 games once since 2020), but this one was just a freak accident. Haynes and McMenamin, two of the best insiders, say that the Lakers’ star forward should be in the game on Friday night.

The Lakers will likely tell us later in the evening what his official injury situation is:

In the Lakers-Warriors series, the first 11 games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Anthony Davis has shot 52.9% from the field and scored 21.5 points. It included 2.6 assists, 13.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 3.4 blocks per game.

Major League Pickleball (MLP) is one of the biggest sports leagues in the US that is growing in both fame and money the fastest. Even though the association is fairly new—the first draft was in 2021, and the first tournament was in 2022—it is taking over the sports world. The fastest growing spots game MLP, you must know:

MLP (Read more about this fast-growing sport in America: https://thetechburner.com/pickleball-ways-to-profit-off-of-mlp/ ) is a fun sport that takes the best parts of volleyball, tennis, and badminton and makes them into one. Some of the most famous players in the world have put their names down to own their own teams. Along with Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, LeBron James, who plays forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, was one of the first donors.

But some of the NBA’s younger stars have chosen to come to the party:

Jayson Tatum, who is on the Boston Celtics, and Zach Lavine, who is one of the best players on the Chicago Bulls, have both recently invested in the MLP. Tatum is a part of the 2023 First-Team All-NBA, and Lavine has won the Slam Dunk Contest twice. Both of them are already stars in their own right, but they are putting money into a new sport they think has a future.

Professional sports are starting to invest in MLP, and with these big names on board, it’s a good bet that it will keep growing. LeBron James, who is 38 years old, is always looking for ways to use his fame and money to make a difference. He thinks that this pickleball league is the future of sports in the United States, and he is not the only one who thinks this. Maybe more Lakers will find their way to owning a team soon.
