Von der Pool was a cocktail hors d’oeuvre. They were stuffed eggs with Yukon potatoes, rice cakes with kale and cucumber salsa, potatoes with truffles, and coconut ceviche.

Melissa King supervised the preparation of the first meal shift. Fresh fish fillet seasoned with citrus fruits, olives, and Sichuan pepper. The main course was barbecued steak with spring carrots, crispy rice, and cornbread crumbs.

Amira Kassem has created a special dessert inspired by traditional tea parties during the Gilded Age.

The tables were adorned with tablecloths inspired by vintage embroidery by American textile artist Elizabeth Jeffries found by Vogue editor Eddie Kiernan in the archives of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
