Nvidia Decreased the price of RTX 3000 graphics cards
With a 44% decline in gaming revenue, Nvidia has decided to finally sell off the remaining RTX 3000 graphics cards at a reduced cost. Apparently, preparations for the release of the RTX 4000 have already begun.
The cost of video cards began to decline immediately after the collapse of cryptocurrencies this year and was not controlled by manufacturers in any way.
Even as supplies picked up again and inventory surpluses formed, Nvidia did absolutely nothing to bring market prices closer to recommended prices.
However, now that the company’s preliminary financial report showed a 44% decline in gaming revenue in the last quarter, Nvidia is clearly motivated to act.
The reduced cost of the RTX 2000 and RTX 3000 models indicates that the manufacturer is trying to sell off the leftovers as quickly as possible.

Nvidia’s new financial report shows revenue fell from $8.1 billion to $6.7 billion, a 19% drop for the quarter.

As a result, according to the resource Tom’s Hardware, last week the large online store Newegg was selling top-end graphics cards like the Asus RTX 3080 Ti for $833, and the Zotac RTX 3080 Ti Extreme for $839.
Mid-range models like the Asus TUF RTX 3070 were available for $515. Separate very serious discounts were on the RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3090, and RTX 3080 Ti from EVGA – up to 42%.
Some older models like the RTX 2060 6GB sold for $239, while the 12GB version went for $249.
Usually, video cards at such prices diverge in a matter of hours, but the very fact of such a serious price reduction is very pleasing.

As for the AMD RX 6000 graphics cards, most of them are already on sale at the recommended price or lower.
