The Bills remain the best organization in the AFC by defeating the Chiefs in Arrowhead in a duel where both teams exchanged the lead on the scoreboard

In one of the wildest postseason games in NFL history, the Bills and Chiefs traded the lead three times and scored 25 points in the final 2 minutes of regulation, including a 13-second field goal drive. Kansas City to force through the extra time that people in Buffalo are still trying to squeeze in.

On the sixth Sunday of the season, both teams starred in one of the most anticipated rematches that included multiple advantages in the score.

Boasting two of the highest-caliber offenses in the National Football League, neither team was particularly efficient in the first half, turning the ball over at least once.

The best of the show was left for last when both attacks unleashed their potential.

Josh Allen led an offense in the final two minutes of the game that helped the Bills take the lead 24-20.

Josh Allen Legitimate MVP Candidate

The Buffalo Bills quarterback kept his cool throughout the game despite his team trailing twice. Allen knew how to control the emotions that had played against him in previous games of the rivalry and finished the night with 329 yards and three touchdown passes. Josh had 32 yards on the ground which allowed the Bills to advance on decisive plays. The Bill’s attack managed 26 first and 10 and had 31 minutes on the ball.

Josh Allen now has 17 touchdown passes this season, tying his 2020 season (16) for the most touchdown passes in team history through the first six games.

Josh Allen ends the third quarter having completed 13 consecutive passes, setting a new career-best completion streak.

Mahomes Ended As It Began: Intercepted

In addition to Taron Johnson’s interception on the Chiefs’ last drive, the Bills’ defense was instrumental in Sunday’s win at Arrowhead. Although the Kansas City offense advanced 387 yards, the Bills managed to stop on decisive points. Mahomes was intercepted on his first possession with the ball just like on his last drive.

Mahomes finished with 338 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, including one in the end zone early in the game. JuJu Smith-Schuster had five catches for 113 yards and a touchdown.

The nail-biting game to the finish was a fitting follow-up to their playoff game when the teams combined to score 25 points in the final two minutes of regulation, and the Chiefs won the game on the first possession of overtime.

Von Miller Factor

Although he had only four tackles during the game, Von Miller was a stalker of Patrick Mahomes and stopped him several times behind the line. The Bills linebacker got a sack on third down that was decisive for Kansas City to return the ball to the Bills when they were up three points on the scoreboard.

Von Miller has 16 sacks in 19 games against Kansas City.

The best hands in the AFC

Stefon Diggs had 10 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown, and Gabe Davis also had a touchdown catch that set Kansas City on fire.

With 17 carries, Devin Singletary took the pressure off Josh Allen and added yards for the Bills by finishing with 85 rushings. Thanks to his input, the Chiefs’ defense had more to worry about than just the Buffalo air show.
