The Sims 4 Relationship Cheats

Using relationship cheats in The Sims 4, players can change how close or far a Sim is to another NPC, their romantic interest, or their pet.

Relationships between NPCs in  The Sims 4 can sometimes be unfavorable and can affect your enjoyment of the game, but luckily cheats can turn any negative intimacy into a thriving or even romantic social bond. Cheats can also be used to improve the relationship between pets and their owners. For example, someone’s dog can be naughty, causing trouble for the neighbors in  The Sims 4, or even the Sim’s family and friends. However, if cheats are enabled and used to add positive intimacy between the owner and their dog, all pet-related issues can be resolved.

Keep in mind that there are no wrong decisions when using relationship cheats in  The Sims 4 since the error can be instantly corrected using the counter cheat. For example, if players have two Sims who are romantically involved but want to change things later, they can change the romance level to 0 or even -100. However, remember that it is not possible to earn trophies or achievements once cheats are enabled, so players who want to earn certain relationship-related achievements should think carefully before using cheats.

Before using any cheat in  The Sims 4, players must enable cheats on their platform by entering “testingcheats true” in the Cheat Console. While the input required to open the console varies by platform, this code to enable cheats will remain the same.

How to Use Relationship Cheats on PC

By pressing Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, The Sims 4 fans will be able to open their Cheat Console and enable relationship cheats. Players will know that they can start entering cheats after the message “Cheats enabled” appears in the console. This notification will appear for all platforms.

How to Use Relationship Cheats on Xbox

To use relationship cheats on Xbox in  The Sims 4, players must press LB, RB, LT, and RT, which are two pairs of triggers and bumpers on the back of their controller. The cheat console will appear after pressing these buttons at the same time.

Like Xbox players, PlayStation users must simultaneously use L1, R1, L2, and R2 on their controller to access the Cheat Console to enter relationship cheats in  The Sims 4. As mentioned above, the same string “testingcheats true” must be used to enable cheats in the game.
