The developers of Tower of Fantasy have worked out the lore and plot of the game well. Interest in history constantly spurs further passage. The main storyline is complemented by secondary ones, which also reveal some details of the past and present. Sometimes these stories are funny, sometimes they make you think or feel sad. But rarely left indifferent.

It is interesting to dive into the local fantastic post-apocalypse, although there are no philosophical depths in history, and the characters are a little cardboard. It can be seen that professional screenwriters, not programmers, worked on the story.

The open world in Tower of Fantasy is implemented well, but stereotyped. The developers did not try to avoid traditional outposts with juggernauts. All points of interest are marked on the map so that players do not miss the opportunity to get prize resources. The game space is not very large, so traveling between outposts won’t take long. Vehicles and space teleporter elevators are also available to players to move in space.

Simple puzzles are scattered between points of interest, which are also marked on the map and directions on the screen when approaching the treasure chest. However, they will not allow you to extract resources completely endlessly – the energy for cleaning is not infinite. Tower of Fantasy gives positive emotions. Level Infinite has demonstrated the ability to make a quality product, albeit without innovation. But it should be noted that the developers put monetization ahead of the game. If you have trouble controlling your own passion, then Tower of Fantasy is best ignored. If you can still earn resources through perseverance, then you will have to win the weapon you like.

To some extent, gacha also affects PvP (a mode in which players compete with each other). In the description of the mode, the developers report that they follow the principles of fair play, not taking into account some of the effects of installed weapon modules. A few words about the technical state of the project. Level Infinite, which is responsible for the development, is a division of Tencent Games, the largest gaming company in the world. Unfortunately, such a company did not have the time and money to bring the product to mind by the time of release. Tower of Fantasy suffers from numerous bugs, poor optimization, and a lack of translation into Russian.

Tower of Fantasy is a good game with a solid storyline, interesting setting, dynamic combat system, grind for the sake of grinding, clan disassembly, and socialization typical of the genre. If you close your eyes to bugs and technical problems, then Tower of Fantasy looks decent, but inferior in almost every aspect. So if single-player is more important to you, and MMORPG elements only get in the way, then of course Genshin Impact. In the HoYoverse project, no one bothers you to organize joint raids on bosses and have fun in joint mini-games during events.

However, if gacha has no power over your wallet, no one bothers to combine!
