‘Lyle, Lyle Crocodile, ‘Halloween Ends’ Debuts At The Top Of The British Box Office

Sony’s Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, the adaptation of Bernard Weber’s children’s book featuring a singing crocodile, has bottomed out at the UK and Ireland box office with £2.7m ($3.1m). dollars), according to figures from Comscore.
Universal Halloween Ends, the latest installment in the horror trilogy of the sequel to the original 1978 film starring Jamie Lee Curtis, came in second with £2.1m. Another horror, Paramount’s ‘Smile’ grossed £1.4m in third place in its third weekend for a total of £7.2m.
In fourth place, in the fourth weekend, “Ticket to Heaven”, starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, grossed £617,041 for a total of £7.7 million.
Rounding out the top five was Warner Bros. ‘Don’t Worry Baby’ at £610,841, now totaling £9.3m after four weekends.

There were two more debuts in the top ten. Pakistani moviegoers’ entertainment epic “The Legend of Maula Jatt” starring Fouad Khan and Mahira Khan came in ninth with £315,219 and Warner Bros. Toronto named Emily at number 10 with £276,322.
There are a ton of big releases this coming weekend. Warner Bros. DC Universe’s “Black Adam,” starring Dwayne Johnson, opens wide as does Kaleidoscope Entertainment’s “Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia.”
“Decision to Leave,” which won Best Director for Park Chan-wook at Cannes, is MUBI’s widest theatrical release yet, while Amazon will give Harry Styles’s story “My Policeman” a theatrical release sooner. before it airs on Prime Video in November.
